European leaders regroup in Paris to huddle Trump diplomatic blitz on Ukraine

    French President Macron called leaders from European Union and Uk to his Elysee Palace on Monday for an emergency meeting on how to deal with the U.S., a once - rock solid partner.

    This move follows a weeklong diplomatic blitz on Ukraine by the Trump administration that to embrace the Kremlin, while it cold - shouldered many of its age old European allies.

    "There is a wind of unity blowing over Europe, as we perhaps have not felt since the Covid period", said Barrot.

Thousands Gathered on Presidents' Day to call Trump a Tyrant

    Monday, thousands of protesters opposing broad swaths of President Trump's agenda took to the streets across the US, calling Mr. Trump a "king" on Presidents' Day for his efforts to terminate thousands of federal workers and to fire prosectors and independent watchdogs within the Federal government.


    On Saturday, Mr. Trump suggested on social media that he would not heed concerns of his sweeping actions may break the laws, and posted a riff on phrase attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte: "He who saves his country does not violate any law."

    Many protesters opposed to Mr. Trump's agenda embraced symbols of patriotism, waving flags and wearing heart - shaped earrings and the audience burst into applause after the final line: "And the home of the brave."

    "There's nothing more patriotic than fighting against tyranny," said Kat Duesterhaus, who traveled from Miami to join the Washington protest, "We're out here because we are patriots."

Pope's health silightly better

    The Pope's health has shown a "slight  improvement" on his sixth day in hospital, the Vatican has said.



  Pope Francis, aged 88, was admitted to Rome's Gemelli hospital last week with a respiratory infection. He has been diagnosed iwth pneumonia in both lungs.

   Pope, the current head of Catholic Church. The first pope from society of Jesus and the first non - european pope.

    Pope has made women full members of discasteries in Roman Curia. He maintains that the Catholic Church should be more sympathetic towards the members of the LGBT community and has stated that while blessings of same sex union are not permitted, the individuals can be vlessed as long as blessings are not given in a liturgical context. Also, Francis is a critic of unbridled capitalism, consumerism, and overdevelopment.

Three buses explode in Israel in suspected terror attack

    Three buses have exploded in Bat Yam, in what Israeli police say is a suspected terror attack.

    Device in two other buses failed to explode, adding that 'Large police forces are at the senes, searching for suspects.'

    Transport Minister Regev paused all buses, trains and light rail trins in the country to check for explosive devices could be carried out, Israeli media reports said.  The Prime minister's office posted on X, Israeli military has been ordered to carry out "an intensive operation ahainst centres of terrorism" in west bank.

    Police spokesperson said officers are still trying to locate more bombs in Tel Aviv. Footage on social media showed at least on bus on fire in a parking lot, with a large plume of smke rising above. And yet, there have been no reports of any casulties at the stage.

    "Our forces are still scouring the area.", adding that the public must be on alert for 'every suspected bad or object.'
